The refurbishment of the Museum

Funded mainly by the Ministère de la Culture et de la Communication, refurbishment works were carried out in 2008-2009. They also benefited from the patronage of the Henner Group. The architect was from the Agence Bodin & Associés. The main purpose was to recreate, as far as possible, the appearance of the house in the days of Guillaume Dubufe: The lift of the 1930s was moved to a different place. Walls have recovered their original polychrome aspect. New rooms on the ground floor were open to the public. A new itinerary was laid out for visitors who can now discover recently restored works.
