Reopening
Date:
7 November 2009
After important renovation works, the National Museum Jean-Jacques Henner reopens its doors to the public on November 7th 2009 at 11am.
The renovation made it possible to give the hôtel particulier (private house), built in 1876-78, a look as close as possible to its origins, but also modernizing it, conform to today's standards. The new hanging, displayed along four levels of the building, emphazises the multi-faceted art by Jean-Jacques Henner, thus presenting at the same time the famous artist as well as the secrets of his workshop.
